During the procedure, a technician will use a Fibroblast Pen (see Fig 1.1). When activated, the pen creates a plasma flash which travels from the tip to the treated area. The pen never touches the skin, however, the plasma flash creates a tiny dot upon contact. More "dots" are applied to create a symmetrical grid over the treated area (see Fig 1.2)
The skin around the dots will tighten which will pull the skin cells closer creating a more desired look to the client's natural skin.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! The treated area will be covered in carbon crusts which are formed during the procedure. These carbon crusts should not be rubbed off. Therefore, it is STRONGLY recommended that the client avoid any moisturizing creams (except the aftercare cream) for 5-14 days. In addition, clients will need to avoid all direct heat sources such as sun, UV radiation, saunas, for at least 4 weeks following the procedure.

- Clients with pre-existing health conditions. If the client displays signs of strep throat, cold, or flu, the procedure should be immediately rescheduled.
- Client's with inflamed skin in the treatment area(s).
- Clients prone to keloid scars.
- Clients with uncontrolled diabetes, healing disorders, or lymphatic draining issues.
- Clients with a sunburn.
- Clients who have a history of hyper-pigmentation.
- Clients experiencing an outbreak from the the Herpes Simplex Virus or who are displaying cold sores or blisters from the Herpes Simplex Virus. If the client has experienced the Herpes Simplex Virus (Cold sores/Fever blisters) in the past, they must consult a Medical Doctor and obtain a prescription for Valtrex. Valtrex must be taken 3 consecutive days prior to treatment and 4 consecutive days following treatment. (This applies for treatments surrounding the lip area only)
- Clients with pace makers.
- Clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Clients with eyelash extensions receiving upper or lower eyelid treatment must have lashes removed prior to treatment and reapplied after 8 weeks.
- Any client with a darker complexion is at risk for serious hyper-pigmentation.
